Careers Event Volunteer
(In-person)
Want to help either as a one-off or every now and then? Volunteer your time to support our in-person career insight day
You'd typically need to be:

available during school term breaks / during the working day
-
typically 9.30-3pm in central London with travel expenses covered within London
-
willing to take on different roles during the day
-
willing to be DBS checked if unsupervised by an existing DBS checked volunteer

signed up to our a waiting list pool (press below)
Operational Volunteer
(Remote)
Want to help on a regular basis? Volunteer your time to support the crucial work behind the scenes. These roles help to keep the charity going such as programme coordination, governance operations or administration.

As a core volunteer, you'd need to commit for 12 months and be able to volunteer up to 3-4 hours per week (split how you want)

You'd attend an online interview, which is typically is 1 round but possibly 2 if supporting a leadership role

Project Volunteer
(Remote)
Want to support a specific project behind the scenes, for a short period?

Perfect for volunteers with specific skills, such as Project Management or Education to support our projects

A Project Volunteer might use their Education skills to help develop our WYZ courses or their HR skills to help our volunteer recruitment

These roles are short-term - usually 2-3 months

Trustee Volunteer
(Hybrid)
Want to gain or use leadership skills and support the charity long-term? Trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility for governing our charity and directing how it is managed and run.

This comes with a legal responsibility and a minimum term of two years

Whilst prior leadership experience is not required, candidates will need to demonstrate leadership ability, a strong commitment and must be reliable

Employee or Entrepreneur Volunteer
(Remote)
Want to use your workplace volunteering hours or spare time to support our initiatives?

Support us by championing a careers insight day or creating work experience places at your workplace

Help us to create career or financial literacy focused content specific to your department/company/industry

Use your specific expertise or department to help support our charity operations, such as helping to write an article about a topical issue
Youth Ambassador Volunteer
(Remote)

Available for 16-21 year olds

Volunteering involves content creation only - (blog posts and social media content)

Ideal if you're comfortable in front of camera

You must be available to volunteer for a minimum of 6 months

The role is remote, but you're welcome to support our career insight days in person
